Located in Northern Minnesota, the Edge of the Woolderness is a haven for fiber enthusiasts. Our aim is to offer a relaxing experience while inspiring creativity and community.

We offer online and in-person classes in spinning, weaving, felting, and ceramics. We also attend shows in the area where we showcase handmade items including hats, knitting bowls, and jewelry.

Jim and Eleanor Tillmans

JIM is a Minnesota native and a heavy lifter. While he is not building shelters and mending fences, he can be found fishing on the lake.

ELEANOR ( Ellie) is a fiber artist and ceramicist. She manages the herd day to day. When she is not playing with sheep, she can be found in her workshop working on new items for local shows.
